How to create a SingleCase shortcut

Steps for Firefox browser:

  • Drag the lock icon with your mouse to the Desktop

However, the resulting icon cannot be pinned to the Home panel. So if you want to have a SingleCase shortcut on it, this is the procedure to follow:

  1. Create a shortcut to firefox.exe on the Desktop

  2. Right-click it and select Properties

  3. In the Target field, add the -url parameter followed by the address, e.g. "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -url https://YOUR COMPANY NAME.singlecase.app/?/users/home - please keep the "" and space in place - just copy the text and change the url to the correct one of your company

  4. To give the shortcut the correct icon, click Change icon, navigate to the SingleCase service application - C:\Users\YOUR PROFILE\AppData\Local\Programs\scdc\SingleCase Desktop Client.exe - and load the icon from it

  5. Close the window with OK

  6. Right-click the shortcut and select Pin to taskbar.
