Singlecase Uploader is used to support uploading files or entire folders of files directly to SingleCase. At the same time, this service tool ensures the synchronization of documents in case of an internet outage.

Where can you find SingleCase uploader?

I. At the bottom of the screen after installing the service application:

where, after clicking the "Blue Cube", click the "Open uploader folder" icon on Uploader tab:

II. A new folder named SingleCase Uploader has been created on your desktop:

This folder maintains the same structure as your projects/cases and their subfolders in SingleCase.

How to Upload Files?

You can now transfer individual files, selected files, or entire folders, including subfolders, using standard methods.

1. Transferring Files

A. Drag and Drop Files

  • Open the folder containing the documents you want to upload.

  • Select the required files.

  • Drag and drop them into the appropriate folder in SingleCase Uploader.

After moving the files into the relevant Project/Case Folder, they will be uploaded to SingleCase in the designated location (ClientProject/CaseFolder). Once the upload is complete, the SingleCase Uploader folder on your desktop will be emptied.

B. Drag and Drop Attachments from Outlook

If you have Outlook open, you can directly drag an email attachment into the appropriate folder in the Uploader (ClientProject/CaseFolder).

Or you can of course copy-paste them into the appropriate folder.

2. Copying Files to the Uploader Folder

  1. Select the files or an entire folder you want to transfer to a specific project/case.

  2. You can select multiple files by holding the "Ctrl" key on Windows ("Cmd" key on Mac).

  3. Copy the selected files using "Ctrl + C" ("Cmd + C" on Mac).

  4. Navigate to the appropriate folder (ClientProject/Case) and paste them using "Ctrl + V" ("Cmd + V" on Mac).

3. "Using "Save As"

A. Saving Directly from Microsoft Word
If you are working on a document in Word that was not opened via SingleCase, you can save it directly to SingleCase using the Uploader.

  • In Word, select the "Save As" option.

  • Navigate to DesktopSingleCase UploaderCompany ClientProject/Case.

  • Save the file, then close Word.

  • You can also open this file directly from an email attachment.

B. Saving Attachments Directly from Outlook

  • Click left mouse button on the attachment in Outlook.

  • Select "Save As".

  • Choose the correct folder location: DesktopSingleCase UploaderCompany UploaderClientProject/Case.

Important Notes

1. Files must be uploaded into Project/Case Folders, not directly under the Client Folder.

2. Only upload supported file types, which typically include:
