How to "pin" the SingleCase Uploader folder in Word for easier use

The pin is used to pin the SingleCase Uploader folder to the list of recent document save locations

On Windows

  1. Open Microsoft Word.

    • Launch Word normally.

  2. Go to the File Menu.

    • Click File in the top-left corner.

    • Select Open.

  3. Navigate to the SingleCase uploader folder.

    • Click Browse (if needed).

    • Find and open your SingleCase uploader folder.

  4. Pin the folder.

    • Once you see the folder listed under Recent Folders (on the right side), hover your mouse over it.

    • A push-pin icon will appear.

    • Click the pin icon to keep it permanently in your Word start menu.

Now, whenever you go to File → Open, the SingleCase uploader folder will always be listed.


On Mac (Microsoft Word for Mac)

  1. Open Microsoft Word.

    • Start Word as usual.

  2. Go to the Open screen.

    • From the top menu, click File → Open.

  3. Locate the SingleCase uploader folder.

    • Navigate through Finder to the SingleCase uploader folder.

  4. Pin the folder.

    • After opening it once, it will appear in the Recent Places list.

    • Hover over the folder in the list and click the pin icon (or right-click → Pin to list).

    • On Mac, pinned items stay under Recent Locations inside Word.

From now on, you can quickly access the SingleCase uploader folder without browsing.
