In SingleCase you have the option to set a different role for each user based on the work they will be doing in SingleCase. You can find the role settings for users in "My name"->Settings

where you select the User tab

To edit "User", click on the icon on the corresponding line.

Then select the role on the tab and close (It will be saved automatically)

To summarize, here is a list of individual roles:

  • Manager has complete rights to the entire system

  • Admin does not have access to projects/cases, however, he has all rights to settings including users and their roles (he can also add rights to projects/cases, among other things)

  • Partner has full rights to projects/cases including billing, but cannot change system settings

  • Office manager has full access to projects/cases, but cannot see billing

  • Other roles (Manager, Student, Senior Lawyer, Junior Lawyer, Secretary) have rights to specific projects/cases, but cannot see billing

Here are the default settings of permissions for various roles:

On request we can adjust the roles and their permissions to the various items (such as clients, cases etc.) in your application.
