If you open a .pdf document from SingleCase using an application other than Adobe Acrobat Reader, it will not unlock automatically in SC when closed and will need to be unlocked manually through the SingleCase Desktop Client window:
To avoid this additional step, set Acrobat Reader as the default application for .pdf in Windows.
Search for any .pdf file on your device and bring up the context menu with right-click on the document, navigating as follows through "Open with":
And then choose Adobe Acrobat and command as follows:
